We are proud to offer comprehensive, high-value benefits designed to meet the needs of yourself and your family. This includes a medical plan option requiring zero monthly paycheck contributions; immediate medical, dental, and prescription drug coverage; and access to a health savings account included with all medical plans. Your mental health is important, too: we provide up to ten free counseling and coaching sessions a year for you and your dependents, along with other services.

Recruiting Process
Can I apply for positions in other countries?
Every country has different laws and regulations regarding work authorization and visas. As a non-citizen you may apply to positions in countries where you are authorized to work or who may provide sponsorship. All U.S. positions posted indicate whether they offer visa sponsorship or not.
How do I find out about U.S. skilled trades opportunities?
Open positions are posted on the Ford Careers site. All candidates must have completed a bona fide apprenticeship program, or have either eight years of previous experience or a combination of previous work experience and training equivalent to a bona fide apprenticeship program. Current Ford employees can get more information on applying to apprenticeship programs at their work site.
Does the hiring process include a drug screen?
Depending on the position, a pre-employment drug screen for certain substances may be required. Positions in manufacturing facilities or those included in collective bargaining agreements are examples of positions that may require a drug test for certain substances. If you have questions about a specific position, please talk to a Talent Acquisition team member.

As automotive technology changes, technicians' skills change, too. Technicians require computer and mechanical skills using sophisticated testing equipment to diagnose vehicles.
