一、情景再现

在很多面试的场合,面试官常常会要求应聘者:请用一分钟的时间做简单的自我介绍?

自我介绍看起来很简单,但是要答得精彩也非易事。如果求职者没有精心准备,要想给面试官留下深刻的印象是不可能的。

为什么要重视自我介绍?

因为自我介绍得好不好,直接关系到你给面试官的第一印象的好坏。

试想一下:如果连介绍自己都不能好好完成,怎么能指望他能把公司的产品向客户、把工作事项向同事交代清楚?所以,求职者一定要慎重对待自我介绍。

从面试官来看,这样提问的好处也很多。

我们可以先假设:面试官为什么要问这样一个问题?

有的求职者认为,简历里我都明明白白地写了,这样问不是没话找话吗?

不是这样的,面试官这样问,大有深意,可以说是内藏重重玄机。

1、听话听音,考察你的口才:比如语言表达能力、逻辑性与创新性,可以对应聘者有初步的判断。

2、核对与你的简历是否矛盾:如学历、岗位、工作年限、跳槽是否频繁等等。

一般来说,应聘者作自我介绍的时候,面试官会对照应聘者的简历进行检查。一旦应聘者的口头信息与简历中的信息不符,比如工作经历冲突。就可以对照简历发现一些蛛丝马迹。如果确认应聘者提供的信息是虚假的,那么,接下来应聘者所做的一切都将没有意义。

3、这道题一般可视为面试问题的“引路石”,是面试官展开下面问题的基础。从面试官的角度来看,他是希望在最短的时间对你能否胜任工作有个初步的判断,也为下一步的提问勾勒出框架,所以非常重要。

4、你的自我介绍中如果出现与符合公司招聘要求中的关键词,或者有突出的特点:如亮点、能力、特长、奖项、成功的项目经验等,都会引起面试官的格外关注。

有的时候,面试官可能是老板,他可能没有时间细看你的简历,但是又想尽快了解你,这样开始提问就是一个好办法。

有人问:可以按简历说吗?有没有模板可以套用?

答案是:不要重复念简历。也不要想用模板去套用,因为这样就没有创新了。当然,这并不是说不能去借鉴别人精彩的回答。

那么,怎么回答才算有创新呢?下面,我举一些实例来回答。

情景一:某企业招聘人事行政经理,要求应聘者应变能力突出。考官在对众多应聘者目测后发现,有个中年人看起来很精明,便决定对他进行考验,要求其用一分钟时间做简单的自我介绍。

中年人上前不慌不忙地介绍自己:我叫×××,今年43岁,1998年大学毕业企业管理专业,经济师职称。至今有10年的中层管理工作经验,相继在X企业、Y企业任人事主管、办公室主任。擅长公文写作,有较强制定企业管理制度及行政管理执行能力,熟悉人力资源管理的六大模块,对培训及绩效管理有实际的推行经历。我有内审员资格,具有辅导建立并实施ISO9001国际质量体系标准的能力。具有多年实施5S现场管理的实战经验,并有相关作品发表在行业杂志上,熟悉项目申报和公司企业文化建设,能承受一定的工作压力,希望应聘贵公司的人事行政经理职位。谢谢!

这样的回答怎么样?还行。

我们要知道:面试官主要面试什么呢?无非是求职者是否胜任这个工作,以及是否符合企业 的要求。企业最希望知道的是求职者能否胜任工作,包括:最强的技能、最深入研究的知识领域、个性中最积极的部分、做过的最成功的事,主要成就等。

平淡的回答只会介绍姓名、年龄、学历、爱好、工作经验(职位)、应聘什么职位等等这些在简历上都有的内容。这则自我介绍从自己在校所学的专业开始,然后再说明现在所从事的具体工作单位,工作岗位,从事的具体专业。然后地突出自己的能力和优势,重点是能力,也是关键。

其实,还有必要提纲挈领地把在专业领域所取得的成绩和荣誉说一说,比如曾入选高技能人才库等。如果对企业还有了解的话,提一些与老板相同的爱好,就更好了,比如:曾经是校乒乓球冠军。

一般对应聘者的评价可以从教育、培训、经验(职位,经历)、技能等方面考虑,这则自我介绍也是从这几个方面展开,起到良好的效果。

值得注意的是:面对这种开放性的题目,自我介绍不用面面俱到,应结合应聘理由和自身优势简洁描述。

比如:我参与过企业安标管理标准化建设,能为企业建立的安标标准化建设出一份力,我的文笔较好,是某平台的专栏作家,另外,这是我的相关证书,您可以过目。

情景二:在求职者介绍到一半时,考官突然打断,让他以“1、2、3”为题重新介绍。中年人马上回答道:我可以用一级证书、两个技能、三个奖励来概括。一级证书指一级企业人力资源管理师。两个技能指:5S现场管理、质量体系认证。三个奖励指:省优秀毕业生、省安全生产论文优秀奖、市职工自学成才奖。

考官追问:还能讲出一个4吗?

中年人答:开发区乒乓球个人单打第四名

万一,考官不死心,再追问一句:五呢?这时该怎么答呢?

你没有想到,或答不出,也没关系,即便你说:爱与老太太一起跳广场舞。

在玩笑中结束这个问题,那也是很好的。

二、归纳总结:

理想的自我介绍应该是这样子:

1、全面、准确、简洁、精炼、生动。

有些应聘者在作自我介绍时,能把自己的教育背景和工作经历列出,不仅内容全面而清晰,还能将自己每一个优点恰如其分地展示给面试官,而且,他的每一个词语都运用得恰到好处。

2、富于条理,有逻辑性。

3、神态平和,语速适中,侃侃而谈、自然流畅。有些应聘者在作自我介绍过程中语言流畅,一气呵成,简历内容倒背如流。效果倒不一定好,因为考官会认为是事先背好的。

4、应聘者声音洪亮且语气沉稳。相反,如果应聘者声音忽大忽小,眼神飘忽不定,就有可能是因为紧张或是在说谎。

反之,自我介绍不能出现的情况:

1、不要人云亦云。

2、不能相互矛盾,不能夸大或是存在虚假成分: 真实、可靠是选人的基本宗旨。

3、过于紧张而语无伦次,出现面部发红、额头出汗、嘴唇发干或者坐姿、站姿僵硬、神情局促不安等状况。表明应聘者的表达能力与心理承受能力都欠佳。

4、无所不谈,漫无边际,但对于面试官真正想了解的关键部分如能力素质,则绝口不提。应聘者的回答就像“浮云”,让人抓不住重点。

5、应聘者的自我介绍不能给后面挖坑。自我介绍中的内容,很可能是面试官后续发问的内容。所以 而是做好准备,扬长避短。

6、主次分明,详略得当:不要过多介绍跟应聘无关的内容,一般大学之前的学习经历用一句话概括即可,重点放在职场的经历。

三、举一反三

1234法不仅仅是适用于回答自我介绍。在现实中,看到一些面试题目也是适用这样回答的。

比如:

1、结合企业和工作,你最大的三个优点和三个缺点是什么?如果让你上任,烧的前三把火是什么?

2、在上个工作中举出几个自己不满意或做得不好的事情,现在怎么看待?

3、你认为你能给公司带来什么?或者采用另一种方式:你认为这个岗位和工作有哪些重要的事情做?容易出现哪些问题?你是怎么做好的?如果前期没做好有哪些改进措施?你认为自己的胜任力在哪里?

4、你目前负责的核心工作(即主要工作内容)主要包括哪些?在这些工作中,花费时间最多的工作是什么?

这些问题都是适用1234法来回答的,你可以试试。

I. Scenario Replay
In many interview situations, interviewers often ask candidates: Please briefly introduce yourself within one minute. Self-introduction may seem simple, but it's not easy to answer it brilliantly. If job seekers haven't prepared carefully, it's impossible to leave a deep impression on the interviewer.

Why should we attach importance to self-introduction? Because the quality of your self-introduction is directly related to the first impression you leave on the interviewer. Just imagine: If you can't even introduce yourself properly, how can we expect you to clearly explain the company's products to customers or convey work matters to colleagues? Therefore, job seekers must take self-introduction seriously.

From the interviewer's perspective, there are many benefits to asking this question. Let's assume first: Why does the interviewer ask such a question? Some job seekers think that everything is clearly written in their resumes, so isn't this question just making small talk? That's not the case. When the interviewer asks this question, it has profound meaning and can be said to hide many subtleties.

Reading between the lines to assess your eloquence: For example, language expression ability, logicality, and innovativeness, which can give the interviewer a preliminary judgment of the candidate.

Checking for contradictions with your resume: Such as educational background, position, working years, frequency of job-hopping, etc. Generally, when the candidate makes a self-introduction, the interviewer will check it against the candidate's resume. Once the candidate's verbal information does not match the information in the resume, such as a conflict in work experience, some clues can be found by comparing with the resume. If it is confirmed that the information provided by the candidate is false, then everything the candidate does next will be meaningless.

This question can generally be regarded as the stepping stone of the interview questions and is the basis for the interviewer to expand on the following questions. From the interviewer's perspective, he hopes to make a preliminary judgment on whether you are qualified for the job in the shortest possible time and also outline the framework for the next questions, so it is very important.

If there are keywords in your self-introduction that match the company's recruitment requirements, or there are outstanding characteristics, such as highlights, abilities, specialties, awards, successful project experience, etc., it will attract the interviewer's special attention. Sometimes, the interviewer may be the boss who may not have time to carefully read your resume but wants to understand you quickly. Asking this question at the beginning is a good way.

Some people ask: Can I just talk according to my resume? Are there any templates that can be applied? The answer is: Don't repeat reading the resume. Also, don't try to use a template, because there will be no innovation then. Of course, this doesn't mean that you can't learn from others' wonderful answers. So, how can you answer innovatively? Below, I will give some examples to answer.

Scenario 1: A certain company is recruiting a human resources and administrative manager, requiring applicants to have outstanding adaptability. After visually inspecting numerous applicants, the examiner found that a middle-aged man looked very shrewd, so he decided to test him and asked him to give a brief self introduction for one minute.

The middle-aged man stepped forward unhurriedly and introduced himself: My name is ×××. I'm 43 years old this year. I graduated from the major of Enterprise Management in 1998 and have the title of Economist. I have 10 years of middle management work experience so far. I have successively served as the Human Resources Supervisor and Office Director in Company X and Company Y. I'm good at official document writing, have strong abilities in formulating enterprise management systems and implementing administrative management. I'm familiar with the six modules of human resources management and have practical experience in promoting training and performance management. I have the qualification of an internal auditor and the ability to guide the establishment and implementation of the ISO9001 international quality system standard. I have many years of practical experience in implementing 5S on-site management and have relevant works published in industry magazines. I'm familiar with project application and the construction of the company's corporate culture and can withstand a certain amount of work pressure. I hope to apply for the position of Human Resources and Administrative Manager in your company. Thank you!

How about this answer? It's okay. We need to know: What is the main focus of the interviewer's interview? It's nothing more than whether the job seeker is qualified for this job and whether he/she meets the company's requirements. What the company most wants to know is whether the job seeker can do the job, including: the strongest skills, the most in-depth research knowledge areas, the most positive parts of the personality, the most successful things done, and the main achievements, etc.

A plain answer will only introduce the name, age, educational background, hobbies, work experience (position), and the position applied for, etc., which are all the contents already in the resume. This self-introduction starts from the major studied in school, then explains the current specific work unit, work position, and the specific major engaged in. Then it highlights one's own abilities and advantages, with the focus on abilities, which is also the key. In fact, it is also necessary to briefly mention the achievements and honors obtained in the professional field, such as being selected into the high-skilled talent pool, etc. If you have an understanding of the company, it would be better to mention some hobbies that are the same as the boss's, for example: I used to be the table tennis champion of the school.

Generally, the evaluation of candidates can be considered from aspects such as education, training, experience (position, experience), skills, etc. This self-introduction also expands from these aspects and achieves good results. It should be noted that: For this kind of open-ended question, the self-introduction doesn't need to cover everything. It should be briefly described by combining the reasons for applying and one's own advantages. For example: I have participated in the standardization construction of the enterprise's safety standard management and can contribute to the establishment of the enterprise's safety standardization. I have good writing skills and am a column writer on a certain platform. In addition, here are my relevant certificates for your reference.

Scenario 2: When the job seeker was halfway through the introduction, the interviewer suddenly interrupted and asked him to introduce himself again with 1, 2, 3 as the topic.

The middle-aged man immediately replied: I can summarize it with one first-level certificate, two skills, and three awards. The first-level certificate refers to the first-level enterprise human resources management certificate. The two skills refer to: 5S on-site management and quality system certification. The three awards refer to: Provincial Outstanding Graduate, Provincial Excellent Award for Safety Production Thesis, and City Workers' Self-study and Success Award.

The interviewer asked further: Can you tell me a 4?

The middle-aged man answered: The fourth place in the individual singles of table tennis in the development zone.

In case, the interviewer still didn't give up and asked again: What about 5?

What should you answer at this time? It doesn't matter if you don't think of it or can't answer it. Even if you say: I like to dance square dance with the old ladies. Ending this question in a joke is also very good.

II. Summarization
An ideal self-introduction should be like this:

Comprehensive, accurate, concise, refined, and vivid. Some candidates can list their educational backgrounds and work experiences when making a self-introduction. Not only is the content comprehensive and clear, but they can also show each of their advantages appropriately to the interviewer, and every word they use is just right.

Well-organized and logical.

Calm demeanor, moderate speaking speed, talking freely and naturally and smoothly. Some candidates speak fluently during the self-introduction, and they can recite the resume content by heart. The effect may not be necessarily good, because the interviewer will think that it is memorized in advance.

The candidate's voice is loud and the tone is steady. On the contrary, if the candidate's voice is sometimes loud and sometimes soft, and the eyes are wandering, it may be because of nervousness or lying.

Conversely, situations that should not occur in a self-introduction:

Don't follow the crowd.

Don't be contradictory, and don't exaggerate or contain false elements: Truthfulness and reliability are the basic principles of selecting people.

Being too nervous and incoherent, showing situations such as a red face, sweating on the forehead, dry lips, or a stiff sitting or standing posture, and a nervous expression. This indicates that the candidate's expression ability and psychological endurance are not good.

Talking about everything without a clear focus, but never mentioning the key parts that the interviewer really wants to know, such as ability and quality. The candidate's answer is like floating clouds, making it impossible to grasp the key points.

The candidate's self-introduction should not create problems for the later stage. The content in the self-introduction is very likely to be the content that the interviewer will ask later. So, instead, be well-prepared, give full play to your strengths and avoid your weaknesses.

Distinguish between primary and secondary, and be appropriate in detail: Don't introduce too much content that has nothing to do with the application. Generally, the learning experience before university can be summarized in one sentence, and the focus should be on the work experience.

III. Draw inferences about other cases from one instance
The 1234 method is not only applicable to answering self-introduction questions. In reality, some interview questions can also be answered in this way. For example:

Combining the company and the job, what are your three biggest strengths and three biggest weaknesses? If you take office, what are the first three things you will do?

In your previous job, list some things that you were not satisfied with or didn't do well. How do you view them now?

What do you think you can bring to the company? Or in another way: What do you think are the important things to do in this position and job? What problems are likely to occur? How did you do it well? If you didn't do it well in the early stage, what are the improvement measures? Where do you think your competence lies?

What does your current core work (that is, the main work content) mainly include? Among these works, which work takes the most time?
These questions are all suitable to be answered using the 1234 method. You can give it a try.
